Cycling, the Giro Donne donates the Maglia Rosa 2022 to UNHCR

The official delivery of the Maglia Rosa of the Giro Donne 2022 to UNHCR will be held on Monday 20 June on the occasion of the World Refugee Day during the round table entitled Refugeesfrom asylum to integration: partnerships and innovative solutions for an unprecedented crisis to be held at Palazzo Rospigliosi Congress Center to Rome. The Giro Donne 2022, the most prestigious stage competition in the panorama of women’s cycling kicks off on 30 June from Cagliari to finish in Padua on 10 July after crossing Sardinia, Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige And Veneto. A 1,000 km course that will see 144 athletes from the best 24 teams in the world compete for the Maglia Rosa. Thanks to the 2-hour live broadcast agreements with RAI for Italy and with the Discovery / Eurosport network, together with Global Cycling Network (GCN +), the competition will be visible in over 200 countries around the world on 5 continents.
