THE WORDS OF LAURA PARTENIO-
” Mine has been an overwhelming life since my departure from Bergamo: Nicole was born and all my perspectives have changed, but the desire to play hasn’t. I took a different path than before my motherhood, certainly more enterprising, fascinating. I made some choices mainly thanks to the support of my husband who was able to follow me and I am super happy with what I have done so far. I always thought, however, that I would have liked to close the circle in Bergamo. And here I am! I have wonderful memories of when we had touched the semi-final in 2017 and, even if the club has changed, I find the same environment and the same fans, who have often asked me to come back ».
Monza, Filottrano, Casalmaggiore and France were the last stages.
«After Bergamo, in Monza and Filottrano I also covered the role of captain and I gained a lot of baggage: I know how to behave with my teammates, I know how to keep the group together, I think this is the top moment of my career. Bergamo fans will find me more mature, wiser, more aware. France was a super good opportunity, especially after my knee injury. I managed to recover 100% and it was a great life experience: I had already played in France and was able to enter the new world right away. It was a life change that my family and I will always carry in our hearts ».
What will you bring to this new adventure?
«I think I can give my positivity, the desire to never give up and my charisma. I hope that this team can reach salvation as soon as possible and then play it and see how it goes… ».
What idea did you have of the rossoblù group?
” A team that has changed a bit compared to last year, I want to start to get to know them all. I meet Stufi after our two years together with Casalmaggiore, the other companions are all to be discovered, but, for example, I know that our setter, Giulia Gennari, is in her turning point after the learning seasons in Conegliano, I think she will a nice season. And I know that Micoli is a hard worker and everyone talks about him very well ».
