Westerville South Wildcats and Westerville Central Warhawks, two OCC Cardinal Division teams, faced off in round two of Division I Central District Boys Basketball Tournament on Wednesday February 29th. An intense battle between cross-town rivals ended with a close Wildcat victory. Central led up to the last seconds of the first quarter, when South’s Isiah Rogers sunk a 3 pointer. South then maintained a narrow lead, until Central tied the game in the last minutes. South was ultimately victorious with a 67-65 win.  Westerville South entered the tournament #8 seed and will play #4 seed Pickerington Central on March 7th at Jonathon Alder High School.
