The Warriors visit Ohio Capital Conference-Capital Division foe Olentangy Orange for a 7:30 p.m. game Friday. The Warriors have not beaten the Pioneers in three prior meetings, and the Pioneers are coming off their most impressive victory of the year.

Two months ago, few would have expected Watkins Memorial to be in a position to win a Ohio Capital Conference-Capital Division title. On Tuesday, a bad bounce was all that stood between the Warriors and glory.

 

Hilliard Bradley’s Casey Gross scored on a penalty kick with 4:16 left in the match to give the visiting Jaguars a 2-1 victory. The Warriors (9-3-3, 4-2) had to win to earn the league title.
